Sekeping Victoria

Year

Description
The Ruins of Victoria is located in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia. The island was a colonial center for the spice, tobacco, and betel trade for most of the 19th century. The remnants of the old town center have been preserved while the modern town has grown around it. The hotel is a stylish expansion that has been used as a venue for great parties, art openings, and other events. Indeed, it has its own gallery with contemporary cuts and three suites in a 4000 -square -foot warehouse. Natural and industrial styles have been mixed in a unique design so hope to see trees grow from the concrete to regain the old structure. Your room is a warehouse suite, perfectly-luxurious room with luxurious amenities. There is a communal kitchen, dining and living area, and bicycles are available so you can cycle to the beach.

Kota Kinabalu in Sabah has always been on my list of places to travel to. So, when the opportunity to visit the city during a work trip came along, I was more than happy to volunteer.

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
