Description
The sculpture is an idealistic suggestion on how consumer waste should be perceived and treated in today’s context. Metaphorically, the term 'parallel' represent consumer waste as consumer in the surrealistic parallel world, created by the artist to visualize another world consisting of plastic society to highlight the issue of plastic waste pollution that is happening now. The artist is using hyperbole approach In a dire need to explain the situation by visualising In the surrealistic parallel world, the sculptures are doing what the consumer does exactly at the same moment, and at the same situation (consuming human and waste them just like what is happening in the real world).

Mural art trail crosses city

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
