Description
A mural dedicated to the frontliners of Malaysians who have worked hard in the fight against Covid-19. The mural work that has been produced by 2 local mural painters by Abdul Rashade & Yaulacap is now on the outer wall of the Kuala Lumpur Health Clinic. A work featuring portraits of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the Director General of Health of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. The Mural Project in conjunction with the covid-19 awareness campaign is part of the National Art Gallery's initiative throughout Malaysia in an effort to provide awareness and enthusiasm in fighting the pandemic.

Kota Kinabalu in Sabah has always been on my list of places to travel to. So, when the opportunity to visit the city during a work trip came along, I was more than happy to volunteer.

Mural art trail crosses city

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
