Traveling in a sailing boat with a local fisherman working at sea, is quite soul -stirring and awe -inspiring to see the courage of a man who works hard to find a simple but meaningful livelihood. This artwork is about a local fisherman getting ready to go fishing in the ocean. The ocean connects the island and the mainland of Penang by supplying food sources from the sea to the people living on the island as well as on land. The concept of the artwork is related to the idea of ??how each community group coming from different fields or groups can contribute and support each other in the urban society towards a better future of life until all

Kota Kinabalu in Sabah has always been on my list of places to travel to. So, when the opportunity to visit the city during a work trip came along, I was more than happy to volunteer.

Mural art trail crosses city

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
