Kraftangan Malaysia Kedah Branch started operations in 1978 at the MADA workshop, Pekan Kepala Batas. In 1987, the Kedah Branch PKKM office moved to Taman Uda, Alor Setar. In 1990, PKKM had its own building located in Mukim Bukit Pinang, Kota Setar District located at Lot 1416, KM.10, Jalan Hutan Kampong, Kepala Batas, Alor Setar, Kedah. The area of ??PKKM Kedah Branch premises is 6.3 acres consisting of blocks office building and 7 workshops. PKKM Kedah Branch was officiated by DYMM Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman. on 22 November 1990 equivalent to 5 Jamadilawal 1411.

Kota Kinabalu in Sabah has always been on my list of places to travel to. So, when the opportunity to visit the city during a work trip came along, I was more than happy to volunteer.

Mural art trail crosses city

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
