Description
This mural is painted on the wall and back door of Taiping Zoo. On the right is a picture of a Boeing aircraft against the backdrop of dark skies and skyscrapers to pay homage to the MH370 incident. On the left, the figure of Muhammad Ali is also drawn to pay homage to the iconic figure from the sport of boxing. Finally, on the left wall, appears a visual combination of a female figure facing a roaring tiger. Next to it is a visual arrangement of balloons consisting of letters that form the word "TAIPING" in black-and-white.

Mural art trail crosses city

December 16, 2014 @ 8:18am By Diana Yeoh

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
